That does not sound unusual at all!! Oftentimes you will spot for longer than you think you should, but it's just variety in your period. Unless you hurt, or smell weird, or itch, or have a different discharge than spotting, I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Go get some panty liners/pads, you should never be using tampons when you are spotting, it is just asking for trouble.

Anywho, don't worry at this point, periods are as variable as anything else in your body. As always though, if you do feel really weird, go to the doctor.

a period can last anywhere from 2 to 9 days so you can't always go by what has happened in the previous months. Sometimes it's longer and heavier than you would have wanted or expected. However if it continues for a couple of weeks you should call a doctor and speak with a nurse or better yet make an appointment it's better to be safe than sorry.

I did that once. I went for 15 days. I went to the doctor and he said I had a tear up inside and that was what kept bleeding, not my period.

Sometimes you will go for a little bit later than normal. If you are worried about this go see your doctor. It could just be tapering off slowly.

Only a physician can help to regulate back to normal as a health problem may be exiting.
