Well there are so many. Lord of the Rings was awesome and helped me through high school. But i also think the Jet Li movies are good for action (Although somewhat the same), Harry Potter 4 is good and the best out of the four so far (5 is out in June or July 2007) but I didn't like the new dumbledore.

I have enjoyed the whole Harry Potter series as of date and cant wait for the next installment. But as for favorites to many to choose from oldie I would have to say Top Gun or Back to the Future and of course Star Wars, newer I would have to say Lord of the Rings all 3, and Con Air. Newest I have seen and enjoyed was The Departed or Happy Feet.

DONNIE DARKO - such a bizarre film with no real point to it - had to watch it for times running just to see if this movie had a point - but have decided it does not and this has not made a difference to way I feel about the film - it also has some wicked soundtracks to compliment the movie.
