I personally have not had an abortion- but I have talked to girls/women who had- and besides the physical risks there are many emotional risks-
1- excessive bleeding
2- perforated uterus
3- excessive pain
4- miscarriages later, and infertility problems can occur
5- higher risk of breast cancer.

Grief, shame and anniversary remembrances can last a long time. I just talked with a women who had 2 abortions about 8-9 years ago and still has not forgiven herself for them. Do now do this for the sake of the baby's life and yours.

You can never say what you will or will not do. Plus you can not judge those who have experienced an abortion. There are circumstances that happen in life. Abortion is pro-choice. It is a womans right. I just think it is wrong to use abortion as a form of birth control. Those women who use it as an alternative to contraceptives. Abortion is not birth control. It is a surgical procedure. There are risks involved.
I will be honest....I have had an abortion. And that is all I will say. I will also tell you it has took a toll on my relationship with my husband and a toll on my conscious. FORGIVENESS....maybe I can be forgiven. I hope I can be.

You need to talk to some of the councilors there @ the clinic. I have had a D&C, it is the same thing as an abortion but you aren't pg. You'll have some cramping & spotting, you may need pain meds. YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW ALL THE Dr.'s ORDERS, so you do not get an infection. Go to your follow up appointments. Also, you may want to talk to your mom, a teacher, a friend, a friend's mom, someone. If you are going to have sex you need to protect yourself. I have 2 teenage DD's they both have been on the pill & have been given condoms (better to have them & not need them, than need them & not have them!).I do not agree w/ abortion, but I also do not think your life should be ruined for one careless mistake. You need to protect yourself IF you are old enough to have sex be responsible! (I've said all of this to my own DD's!) BE CAREFUL!

To find out more about abortion procedures, side-effects and risks and the laws in your state, I recommend visiting a pregnancy center.

To find one in your area, go to www.optionline.org

Do not have an abortion. No matter what type of abortion you have it will have a negative effect on your body. It might not be very prominent at first but it will take a severe toll on your body. If you do not want your baby think about how many couples are waiting to adopt. You will make their lives happier and you wont put your body through unnecessary procedures. If you don not want the baby to know about you or anything like that have a closed adoption. To find out more about an adoption go to www.adoptions.com I hope this helps you.

for one you don't want to ..it haunts you forever and you think i wish i have never did it ..and think how it would have resembled you ..the baby is a baby no-matter if its in your tummy .baby is alive. heart is pumping in just one week..they lie about it so they can trick you in to thinking it not important ..believe me its not worth giving up on your unborn child its your baby .and its not healthy for your body it will take you more then 4 years to have another to some others death its always too risky ..your baby is alive soon as it start to grow in you don't do it ..its murder killing your own blood is even worse ..and i am sorry for it forever i wish someone told me ..God can only forgive but are memories will always haunt you ..what if ..
