Please Help, I'm Confused About This Whole Dates?????????

My Last Period Was On October 14, 2006 And I had Intercourse On November 4, 2006..(That was the only time i had sex in november, i didnt have sex in October)...So Right Now I'm 24wks and 6 Days...And The Doctor Said I'm Due On July 21, 2007...So I Want To Know, When Will I Turn 7 Months...Cause I Turn 5 Months, On March 3, 2007, And Then I Turned 6 Months On March 31, 2007...So I'm Confused...So Please Help....

they start your weeks from the last day of your last period. from there, just count the weeks as normal. 4 weeks is equal to one month. you are actually pregnant for 10 months.

The simplest way is that if you are considered the full 9 months on July 21st, then you pass another month on the 21st of each month.

So on March 21st, you're 5 months, on April 21st, you're 6 months, on May 21st, you're 7, June 21st, you're 8, and July 21st, you're 9 months or full term/due.

You appear to be thinking that 4 weeks make up a month (but this only applies to "lunar" months, and there are 10 lunar months in a pregnancy). If you want to know calendar months you have to assume there are 30-31 days in each month not an even 4 weeks.



Since the month thing can be confusing most people just go by weeks instead. :-)

The 9 month thing that people always talk about is incorrect. The months are actually lunar months which are 28 days for the actual gestation period. The actual time is roughly 36 weeks, anything over 38 weeks is considered late.

Pregnancy goes on a scale of 40 weeks from time of conception so you are used to the six months pregnant at 24 weeks but actually you have to take 4.5 weeks times the months. so to be six months you would actually be around 27 weeks and 7 months would be around 31.5 weeks. You will be seven months April 28th, and Eight Months May 26th, Nine months June 23 and like your doctor said July 21st will be 10 months!

if those dates are right you each pregnancy month is 28 days so 28 days after the 31st which will be april 28th so on the 28th will mark your seventh month which will be your 28th week as well
