The best thing to do, is to talk to a doctor. I am not a big fan of doctors for helping you with that sort of pain, but they'll do. Sometimes chiropractors might be able to help, my mother is a physical therapist who does a technique called Integrated Manual Therapy that works wonderfully on the type of pain you are describing. The best I can do is suggest one of those three options. Probably the doctor is the most feasible, and a specialist might be able to tell you more. My grandmother had H's at one point, and I don't think she's ever had that type of pain. It all depends on your body type.

Oh! I just had another thought that has helped me with back pain!!! I have scoliosis which causes my back pain, and I've been doing Iyengar yoga. That type of yoga works on alignment and we use a lot of props so we don't hurt ourselves. Since I started yoga, I've had hardly any back pain; just a bit from hormones.

What's you bra size? Too many women jump to the conclusion of requiring sugery as it's the easy and fashionable option, conviniently forgetting that men can get back pain too. See a doctor who specialises in back problems, there might be issues with your spine.

If it turns out breasts are aggrevating the problem, it can be solved by getting a better fitting bra, phisiotherapy, improving posture (might need a longline bra) and excercise (general weight loss or something like the yoga suggested by someone else, that sounds like a great idea). No need to even think about surgery yet.
