Yes. Some people do bleed during the first months of pregnancy some the entire pregnancy. However, it could be a sign of trouble or miscarriage. Go to the doctor, he can tell you if eb\verything is OK or if there are any reasons for concern

When I was pregnant, I was spotting, not having a period, but just spotting and that is normal, but if what you are saying is that you are having a heavy period, and you just found out you are pregnant, I would call my doctor or go to the ER!
Reason why you could be having a miscarriage!!! Do you have any cramping?
If you are heavy, and pregnant, go to the ER right away, this sounds serious.

I bled when my first period was due, even though I was pregnant. It was a short period, only lasted a couple of hours. Sometimes your body takes a little while to adjust!
Bleeding in pregnancy generally needs to be checked out, it's more serious as time goes on but in the first few weeks you can get some minor bleeding. If you're worried get it checked out.

I got my period twice during my last pregnancy. I'm not sure what it means, although I did have an extra lobe to my placenta, which was discovered after the birth. I'm not sure if there is any medical connection to that.
Here is the only article I've been able to find that actually admits that it's possible to have your period during pregnancy.

Take it from me....yes it is possible. There are factors in life that can contribute to this like stress, your relationship with your parents, friends, and/ or significant other. Take a closer look at your routine. Do you have a lot on your plate? Are you carrying a lot of bricks on your shoulders? Does the guy know you are pregnant? Does he consent to the pregnancy or did he deny any involvement? Do your parents know and support your decision?
Questions and concerns like these can impact your body.
I GOT PREGNANT WITH MY DAUGHTER WHEN I AS 19 YRS. OLD. I was a sophomore in college. My parents were very strict and had these high expectations for me. The guy was very special to me. I actually loved him. When I told him and he denied it I became devastated. I denied what was happening to me. I went to OSU knowing I was pregnant. I wore baggy clothing and acted like I was not pregnant. Eventually I got sick from malnutrition. I was still getting my period too. It was a lot of work trying to conceal my pregnancy. But once I got sick on campus, I went to stay with my girlfriend off campus. She called my mom and I went home. My mother eventually took me to ER. It was there she learned I was 4 months pregnant. The disappointment was why I was trying to hide it. I knew eventually it was inevitable...the baby was going to come. I was just hoping the baby would just disappear. How naive. Due to the lack of taking care of myself my daughter was born premature. I had her on March 23, 1995. She had to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks. She was a tough girl. She was a survivor.
This experience helped me to mature. My daughter is my jewel. I mistreated her and I had to pay for it. She was a gift GOD gave to me, despite what I did to her.
Once the secret came out my periods stopped. So just take a look at the factors in your life. They could be contributing!

It is possible. It may mean nothing. Some women do this. It isn't normal, but it happens.
I may, though, mean a problem with the placenta and it's something that your doctor should know about asap
Best wishes
