To fall in love is not a choice that eyes can enjoy, and neither is not falling in love. When love happens it does not stop form happening because we think this might hurt, or it will make us lose the one we find so dearly lovable, love just happens. It happens at least one or many times in every person’s life. The only difference is that sometimes we are not ready for it and we fail to realise our love. And sometimes fate plays its cruel hand and make us part with the one we love sooner than we ever could express our love to them.
This is true that love hurts and love does not mean possessing some one and having someone the way we like or think we should. Love takes it own course through the lives of the ones who love. Sometimes love changes people while some other times it destroys them. But howsoever hurtful and dangerous loving can be soon as heart finds love it does just the same thing again as if love is its only purpose of being.
When love fails it fails only to the eyes. To human heart everything is a victory as long as it is in the name of love. When eyes see love being lost they cry and see an end to everything in the world, but then our heart in its secrecy after being fed with heavenly food of sadness and sorrow in love starts to build hope yet again. There is nothing that can save a person but hope that we will fall in love again.

Really depends on the circumstances of the break up.
If she proves at end of relationship she has turned in to some non-caring/monster/ vindictive/selfish person.. (as things can do when people stop acting civilised after the love has worn off) then better to have not loved at all.
All that energy/time could have been better spent elsewhere than on a person you no longer recognise due to their change of personality. (I would never do that to a lover when things are broken beyond repair - always civilised)

In the midst of heartbreak, most of us might be tempted to say we'd rather never have loved at all & never known that pain, but the truth is I still think it's better to love & lose. Love is the most intense emotion you can experience. It makes you feel more alive than you've ever been. When it ends (if it ends), it's devestating but it's still worth it. If we avoided every experience that may cause us pain we'd never really live. We'd have to hide from life, avoid risks, avoid feelings. The sources of our greatest joys are often our greatest sorrows. That's the risk you take in being alive. You love someone, not knowing if you'll lose them (most dramatically & unexpectedly in death which is horrible to deal with) but loving them anyway, because it's a gift to have shared those moments with them no matter how long it lasts. Life is about quality not quantity. We never know how anything will turn out but you still try, you put your heart out there because that's what makes life worth living.
Don't get me wrong there have been times I was heartbroken, bawling my eyes out thinking I was going to die, but you live, you get stronger & you dare to love again...
Life goes on. Each experience is valuable, each teaches you & helps to shape who you are. Love is arguably the most valuable & rewarding experience.

How could you go to your grave without experiencing one of the deepest emotions that a human can experience ?
They say there is no gain without pain - well if you find love that is returned then it is sublime - but if you never love you will never find this out.
It is better to love and run the risk of losing for the sweet feeling you get when you don't lose.

I use to think it was never love at all. But now I'm actually in love and even if I lose him and get hurt I think I'm glad that I have him now and that we've had some really great times together that I will remember forever.

There are different ways in which you can lose and sometimes love is spoilt by bitterness. Toto is right though. Nothing can take your memories away even if you have lost a loved one.
If you have never loved you are the poorer for it.

If you do not love you have not lived, love and lose is the best way, you never really loose you just grow. Life without love is a hard one I know I've been there.

To love and lose. All relationships will end with a heart being broken. I would not trade any of my relationships because they have made me who I am as a person, even the bad ones.

You have to have some love in your life! If love is lost then that is a f***** but the memory of a great love is truly special. The break-up is awful...I never want to do that again...but the love of a good woman is sublime.
