I was run over in a parking lot. She felt so bad she drove me to the hospital. We stopped off and had a cup of coffee on the way. Couple months and she realized she should have backed up after running me over. Funny, a year later, I met the girl I'm going to marry in the same parking lot. No injuries were involved though.

I was 22... I'd stopped for a few minutes on my way home (on a beautiful summer's afternoon in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), to listen to the busker playing his guitar and singing on the corner. I listened... we chatted... I sang with him... we went for coffee... and then a movie... a day long date! Then... out for supper, and to my favourite pub to sing some more!
Turns out he was a teacher... and donated the monies from busking to helping out a youth program he volunteered his time to. Talk about melt! Good fellow... great date! and now, many moons later, still one of my best of friends.

I dated a guy I met at a college convocation. It was a required one and verrrry long. We were sitting on bleachers and my back began to hurt, so I leaned back on the legs of the guy directly behind me who was a perfect stranger. Afterwards he walked me back to the dorm and we dated a while. That is the closest I came to being picked up!

I once got a wrong number from a girl looking for someone else named Billy. We talked for a good 2 minutes before either of us figured it out.
We had a few nice dates.

An unwritten rule that I (most generally) live by is never to date fellow employees. Well, I broke the rule, only to realize that I should have continued to live by it!
I realize this isn't an answer to what you asked...just thought I'd throw that in...he! he!

Went to a party with another guy, he got drunk and passed out on the host's mother's bed; the host's father (they were divorced) took me home, and stayed. Wonderful man. I would have married him if he hadn't died on me!
