it is strange to me (but comforting) that most of the answers are educated and what i believe, but all around me i'm shown that this is not how majority of people feel.

I think that race is a socially constructed notion that society puts too much emphasis on. I think there is such a strain on us as humans to recognize all the different races that we inadverantly separate one another by race.

Every race has the good and the bad, I like the poem I learned as a child, I am not sure this is word for word: There is so much good in the worst of us and there is so much bad in the best of us that it doesn't be-hove any of us to talk about the rest of us. Each of us have to deal with the race issue individually. I would like to think that if we do and say what we think Jesus would have done and said, we will be OK.

although we are all part of the human race. I will say i am not color blind in the least.
I'm an artist, so I see MANY colors,
but I find beauty and spirit in every single one.
And just in the same semse that you can mix blue and red, and get purple. The world has really beautifull mixes too.

I really don't care about race, I base all of my views of people on their individual behavior. Only a complete imbecile would judge an entire race.

I try very hard to treat each person regardless of their race as an individual. I either like them or I don't on their own merits.
Lumping or stereotyping people is wrong......and just makes the "lumper" look ignorant.

We are one race....human...diversity and culture is good. Tolerance is better. Live and let live....do to others as you would have done to you.
"Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly."

While it is a great form of exercise, it's too competive for me. I prefere jogging. That's how I slimmed down for Sonic the Hedgehog, the 15th anniversery game.
