I want to say that liberals are dishonest, but I think the majority are ill-informed and the remainder are totally dishonest dirt bags - few are intellectual. Conservatives are more intellectual but not as dishonest as liberals on the whole. This is a question that is posed incorrectly and I therefore can not give an appropriate answer. I await the dishonest answers from ill informed liberals.

Both sides are somewhat intellectually dishonest but I, as an independent voter, have been voting for the Republicans for the past 20 plus years because I do think I want the nation to go the way they SAY they are guiding it. When you think about it, the Democrats have been very dishonest on many things, (an opinion of mine reached from the facts as I know them). Trouble is that their dishonesty has paid them huge dividends. (they are the majority in congress). What have they accomplished since they have been in the majority? They have passed a minimum wage bill, went on witch hunt after witch hunt (even when there was no crime and the facts showed there was no crime) after witch hunt, had ABSOLUTELY NO PLANS for dealing with the immigration problem, the social security problem, the welfare problem, the health care problem and any one of a dozen other problems that our nation faces. Their answer to our situation in Iraq is to get out. They insist that the American people gave them that initiative when they were voted in as the majority. They are embarrassing our nation with their methods such as passing non binding resolutions, insisting on a time limit for our "retreat" from Iraq, the speaker of the house gallavanting around the middle east in violation of the Logan act, and trying to conduct foreign affairs by devious means that bypass the meaning of the constitution. They use every ball of mud they can dig up as political upsmanship whenever possible. They tell you the half truth, innuendos, and lies but the truth only when it can pay off in political votes. They are presently engaged in trying to pass the largest tax increase in history. Wonder if they think the voters gave them the go ahead on that also?

The current crop of Democrats ran nothing. They claimed when elected not to waste time with endless investigations. Now look at them. They claimed they would not defund the war, and support the troops. They said they wanted partnership not partisanship .Hmmmmm. They wanted to run the most honest congress in history. They passed a bill so full of pork (only to get enough votes to pass) that The president cannot pass it. Then they want a date for surrender. They said if Bush changes direction in Iraq they would back him. He did they cried. The troop surge is working . They scream louder and fight victory harder why? because they cannot afford for America to win in Iraq. The Democratic's are counting on our loss to ensure the White House. Power is more important than America's Safety.

After following both parties for the past 25 years, I would have to say it is a tie for first place. I have also come to the conclusion that anyone entering politics must be suspect. The majority enter for personal gain. The country and the citizens place a dismal second and third in priorities.

Consider the fact that the Con-Reps had control of the Congress from '95 until '07 ,the supremes to this very day, and the Whitehouse from '01 til now and none of the right wing agenda was ennacted.I think that this is because the Con-Reps are con men who only say they are for certsin things to get elected.

They both use this for political gains. I would say the Republicans have been the most underhanded so far in the last ten years. But it is the independents in the middle the majority of voters that voted in the last elections. They made the difference, same as it will be seen in the future.

Liberals and conservatives have agenda and opinions. I tend to not look at facts as liberal or conservative. It's just reality! Facts are facts and libs and cons spin them to further an agenda!

Conservatives. Most of their "arguments" consist of rampant name calling of liberals and accusing liberals of hating America.
You get no real substance at all with them. Just venom.
