What is the government trying to hide about marijuana? They keep saying it's bad for you but science is already proven them wrong...it doesn't even cause more brain cells lost than watching television. Sure smoking anything is harmful on the lungs but compared to cigarettes, which eventually kill you, weed is like breathing humid air. Nobody has ever died from marijuana, unlike cigarettes and alcohol which can lead to liver failure, insanity, loss of motor skills, and brain deterioration. Why listen to a government that hypocrizes itself?...If it's so bad, why don't they just tell you why instead of saying "don't do this, don't do that, but here buy our cigarettes and whiskey and pay us taxes so we can pay for a war nobody believes in!" What's the deal?

Weed impairs your judgment as alcohol does. It alters the way you think while your high. You may not see that as a problem but many do. When I was in college weed was 35 bucks an ounce, good stuff too. I was a weed head and what I know now is that every single person I hung and smoked with never finished college, not a single one. I mean they were at school for four years, but not a single semester did they maintain a passing gpa. Not one of them was involved in any school activities, sports, fundraisers, or clubs. Yes weed may not cause the physical damage we were told it does, but I think the social consequences are just as severe.

Did you know that marijuana can cause chromosome damage in your eggs or semen? Sounds pretty bad to me...

Marijuana also cause lung problems just like tobacco does. There are many of the same cancer causing components as regular cigarettes have. And the THC weakens the immune system.

Marijuana also harms short term memory. Slows your motor skills...

All sound pretty bad to me...

It's not that marajuana is bad for you...It's just virtually impossible to tax...Hence the reason it's still illegal.
