The damage done by his anti-environmental policies is FAR greater than anything he's got going in his house and on his ranch combined.

Given that for the first five years of his administration Bush urged Americans to NOT protect the environment ("It's the American way."), isn't he hypocritical?

Edit after studying up a bit on this. Gore's house is much bigger than the average house, and does use 12 times as much energy. However, it also has a number of environmentally friendly features, and he's having solar panel installed while I type.

Also, it serves as office to both Gore and his wife, so would use more energy than the average home.

Bush's record as an anti-environmentalist is indisputable by anyone who's been paying the least attention these 6 years.

There's something really screwed up about people who want to attack others that are trying to make a difference for the better good of the world. He's basically dedicated his life to this cause, and I feel his frustration in trying to reach people like you that have nothing but cynicism to offer back.
