GW's Texas ranch is the perfect example of what Gore says we should be doing. Gore's mansions are the perfect example of what he accuses others of doing.

Who is really looking out for the environment, and who is an energy hog? Really. Check it out...

Anon - I am attacking a hypocrite who does not practice what he preaches. Just like a marriage counselor with four divorces, a thief who gets mad when someone steals from him, or someone who uses their right to free speech to shout down something they don't want to hear - I call them all out. I notice that you couldn't challenge the facts...

The damage done by his anti-environmental policies is FAR greater than anything he's got going in his house and on his ranch combined.

Is this really too difficult for you to understand?

Given that for the first five years of his administration Bush urged Americans to NOT protect the environment ("It's the American way."), isn't he hypocritical?

Edit after studying up a bit on this. Gore's house is much bigger than the average house, and does use 12 times as much energy. However, it also has a number of environmentally friendly features, and he's having solar panel installed while I type.

Also, it serves as office to both Gore and his wife, so would use more energy than the average home.

Bush's record as an anti-environmentalist is indisputable by anyone who's been paying the least attention these 6 years.

Gore is just riding the politically correct wave into the media again.... While gore was creating his documentary why didn't he spend his money on creating wind mills or putting solar panels on his houses instead of waiting for everyone to call him a hypocrit he has the money to just do it where as the rest of us will have take loans out. instead he started to buy carbon junk credits-- Is the carbon credits business going to be the enron of the future? ---

Oh, please.

There's something really screwed up about people who want to attack others that are trying to make a difference for the better good of the world. He's basically dedicated his life to this cause, and I feel his frustration in trying to reach people like you that have nothing but cynicism to offer back. What have you done lately for the environment, other than ***** and moan about Gore?

I don't normally go off on people like this. Thanks for bringing it out in me.

Either way, both men use the environment movement as a tool to get political leverage.
