try starting with Turbo C if u wanted to make career in software programming. refer to a book 'Let us C' by Yashwant Kanetkar.

Easiest way.

First of all, you need to know what kind of program you want to build.

Second, if you know the fist, decide to write program with the suitable language.

Third, you need to have compiler or that langauge.

Forth, you get your own program.

For example, you want to create program run on .NET platform. You want this program run as Window and GUI. So, you decid to use C#. Then, you go to Microsoft and download .NET SDK or Visual C# - that is compiler for that language.

Go search for a "basic" computer language compiler or interpreter and tutorial. It doesn't get much simpler than basic!

Vb is the simpilest language. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/beginner/ is a good learning resource and http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vb/ is where you can get a free copy.
