I’m not british but I think the kidnapping of the british by the Iraniam army was ilegal. What Ahmadinejad did was a challenging act. What a pity! Iran a very rich country thinking of war instead of living in peace.

What gift was that, the captives were not in Iranian water`s in the first place and were arrested illegally, Ahmadinejad knew that this would be proved and made it look as though he was being generous, it was the Iranian`s that were in Iraqi waters and therefore they were the one`s committing the crime, it was a clever move by him all the same.

Gift my foot. The Iranian government realized they had made a huge mistake. They tried to play a bully with a bluff and Britian did not back down. If they had not released the hostages a war would have started. A war they would not have won as most of the world denounced them for taking the hostages in the first place.
