we all know that there are slurs concerning blacks, asians, mexicans, and Italians (wops, dagos) but do they have slurs for Irish or Scottish people? I am of those two ethnic groups and I am curious about any slurs there may be concerning my heritage. I won't get mad but I might chuckle at any names there are.

*I am not promoting calling people names, I am simply curious

For Irish: Paddys, Micks, Bog trotters. 'Papists', was used in connection with their Catholic religion.

i don't know of any for Scottish people used in the U.S. I've lived here for all of my 57 years. though I think the term 'cheep scate' came may from the Scotch--it seems similar.

Calling the Irish a 'paddy' was considered insulting in the late 1800's. 'Mick' was also common.

Even worse was to call them "English" or "Brit".

ok, specific spaying and neutering is painful- even though it truly is for solid. One, it limits the puppy inhabitants (do you have any thought how many homeless pets there are?!), 2, it keeps them faraway from issue while attempting to discover a mate (autos, diseased cats, and so on.), and 3, they won't get maximum cancers! the two men and ladies persons run the prospect of arising maximum cancers if not spayed or neutered. and not in common terms that, women persons can strengthen whats referred to as "pyometra" the place their uterus, in basic terms positioned, dies interior them and could desire to be bumped off in the different case they strengthen into contaminated and could die. there are various rationalization why spaying and neutering is a large element. they're additionally lots extra gentle while 'fastened.' they don't recognize what has happened to them, so psychologically they're nice. Now, if in common terms human docs could desire to do the resembling some people......;) ok, as for declawing. i'm in common terms for that if it potential a cat will detect a house. in any different case, I do have self belief it merciless. think of having the final area of your finger bumped off. I mean knuckle on up. it is not in basic terms removing the claws...it truly is bone (the distal phalange in case you recognize what I mean). It motives a brilliant style of discomfort- vets generally use so lots extra discomfort meds while a declaw is done in assessment to a spay/neuter. not in common terms that- it may get contaminated (ouch and yuck!), it throws them off stability, they won't be able to shield themselves as properly, they actually take exhilaration in scratching and lower back, that's painful. the only element declawing is for- is for the owner, no different reason. in spite of if it truly is fixtures saving, much less scratches, in spite of- it truly is questioning with regards to the owner. there is not any scientific reason to declaw. yet i recognize a minimum of one element, in case you get your cat declawed so they scratch you much less...they are going to in common terms study to chew you extra, and that's worse. I do have self belief you may prepare a cat not scratch on fixtures, and it facilitates in case you trim their nails. Mine behaves alright. i desire this solutions your question!
