For an easy and quick way soak it in vinegar or any strong (not too strong) acid.

If the coins are collectible or valuable, cleaning will almost always reduce their value—sometimes by as much as 90%.
Here's a guide for collectible coins:
1. Wash the coin under warm, running water.
2. Soak the coin. For gold coins, soaking in very hot soapy water is best. For bronze coins soak in distilled water.Soak the coin for anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
3. Rinse the coin again.
4. Lightly scrub the coin with a soft toothbrush and dish soap.
5. Dry the coin. Pat the coin dry with a soft, lint-free cloth, and then lay the coin on a soft, dry cloth to finish drying.
6. There may be dirt that remains after soaking and brushing. To remove this, use a small, sharp implement such as a toothpick, precision screwdriver, or dental tools.
Your coin sould now be clean.

Don't get involved with it.

If you have "blackened money", you have fallen victim to one of the extensions of the classic Nigerian Scam. They will claim that the blackening can be cleaned with something called Vectrol Paste, or SSD Solution, which are yet another asspect of the scam intended to help separate you from your money.

Don't get involved!!! You have everything to lose, and nothing to gain.

Just soak them overnight in a glass of vinegar and bang you are done. Vinegar is weak ethanoic acid and it can clean almost anything. I once used it to get rid of all scales in my kitchen taps and kettle!!

Coke also contains phosphoric acid and it too can clean your coins!!
