I am not sure about the lines, but you usually get the best result with the first morning urine since it's the most concentrated.

I'd say if there are 2 lines then she is pregnant. Time of day doesn't really matter much anymore. The tests today are better than they used to be. I'd get another one and make sure you follow the directions. You're not supposed to move them until they are done developing. Lay it on a flat surface, stuff like that. The line doesn't have to be dark. If it's there it's there. Good luck.

I had better luck taking the digital tests that say "pregnant" or "not pregnant." I was in denial so I just though the line tests where wrong. I would either by a digital or another test and do it again. Either do it with her first morning urine, or (IF SHE CAN) have her hold her bladder for about an hour and then take it.

She should see a dr and have a blood test done to be sure. It is true that taking the in the morning does help but it should be accurate throughout the day. Your local public health clinic will also do a test for free or low cost.
I would follow through with another check though.
Good luck.

Sounds like a glitched test. A line can be faint, but it's still positive. However if it was only half way through, I say get another brand of test just to be sure.

Yes, even a faint line is a positive. If she takes the test again tomorrow, with the first morning urine (which has the highest concentration of hormones in it) it will probably be a darker line.
Good luck! Are you excited, or scared? Don't worry. Everyone is scared, even if they are married!

She could be and she should take a follow up test in the morning (it is possible to get an accurate result in the afternoon, but hormone levels in the urine are highest w/ first morning trip to the bathroom, so if there's doubt, that's a great time to try).

It is possiable that she could be pregnant. Try taking another test first thing in the morning.
i took my pregnancy test late at night and it showed i was pregnant. It jsut depends on how much of the hormone is built up in your body.
Good Luck.

i'd say shes preg. it doesn't matter how dark the line is the fact thats it's there mean the test picked of HCG in her urine which is the pregnancy hormone that reacts with the test so my guess is thats your expecting and to be one the safe side either go to the dr. or take another test with 1st morning urine.

Generally a line is a line. It would be best to re-test first thing in the morning. If it is still iffy then get a doc appt and they can tell you for sure.
