I think it was the day Vince bought WCW. From that point on there was too many wrestlers. And having two separate shows?? Dumb. I used to watch it every night it was on, even pay per views. I haven't watched since the merge.

I basically agree...Vince is just going for the money with being able to market Raw and Smackdown...I think Smackdown was the product of Vince buying WCW...

Also, when they decide to keep so-called legends wrestling, who should really retire...I'm specifically referring to Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan...Undertaker still kicks ***, and is the only "legend" who should still be there...Also, when they are trying to stress ECW, which is really lame...because if there really is an ECW, they should have their own show...They can't compete with the WWE...Vince must owe Paul Heyman for something...I think Heyman sucks...

it has to be the lack of competition. the presence of wcw fueled the emergence of the best the wwe had to offer the fans. and as vince and a couple of others said in the 'vince mcmahon' dvd the absence of that competition has removed that motivation to give more to the fans

I think it's just age. You like it as a child, and then you get older and it becomes a little old and fake. So it's lame to you now because you're older, but many kids watch it now and think it's the coolest thing ever.

It started to be extremely lame since the HLA storyline. Everything before was great, but that storyline totally ruined wrestling forever, and ever since that day, wrestling has been lame. I still love it, though.

For some reason, since all the wrestlers stopped risking their lives every single night, they just enjoy getting paid.

It really changed when they started to hire writers from SNL, and comedies. They have no knowledge of wrestling, and charter development. This is why you don't see the situations and wrestlers really grow.

It became lame when they put actors in it. Wrestling should be a sport, not a scripted show.

It's always been lame. Why do people still believe that stuff is real? Anyone who has gotten into a real fight knows that their kicks and punches are so fake.
