Hi,
To find an x intercept, let y = 0 and solve.
To find a y intercept, let x = 0 and solve.
Let's find the x intercept by letting y = 0 and solving.
11x-22y=44
11x -22(0) = 44
11x = 44
x = 4
Let's find the y intercept by letting x = 0 and solving.
11x-22y=44
11(0) -22y = 44
-22y = 44
y = -2
I hope that helps!! :-)
11x-22y=44

Change to slope-intercept form, y = mx +b.
-22y = -11x + 44
y = (1/2)x - 2
b = y-intercept
b = -2
y-intercept = (0, -2)
To find x-intercept, plug 0 in for y and solve for x.
0 = (1/2)x - 2
2 = (1/2)x
4 = x
x-intercept = (4, 0)

11x-44=22y 11/22x-44/22=y 1/2x-2=y slope intercept form
y intercept (0,-2)
x intercept (4,0) To find intercepts just set variable at 0 and solve for other.

to find the y-intercept, you must plug in zero for x and then solve for y; to find the x-intercept, you must plug in zero for y and then solve for x:
11x-0=44
x=4
0-22y=44
y= -2
good luck and God Bless!

The way to find out is by drawing a T-shart and plug in zero for x to find the y-int and plug in zero for y to find the x-int. Once you plug in the zero solve for the variable by dividing.
good luck
