Original value and original plan in Genesis One and Two does not get the attention that the Fall of Man in Genesis Three gets. So are we apt to ignore and belittle the ORIGINAL PLAN of God? Does a parent (Heavenly Father) intend originally to create a child for pain and frustration, or for joy. Religion has overemphasized Genesis 3?

We can argue long and hard about who or what created the resultant physical world, but the question of WHY - a better starting point is original plan?

that is a fantastic point, I will remember that.
but maybe it's not just religion that has over emphasized Genesis 3. a lot of other people seem to think that pain and frustration are a little more important than they probably should be.

I'm not sure about the first part of your question but the part about the parent creating the child for pain, frustration, or for joy...I have to look at from a parenting view. When I had my children I didn't create them for pain, etc. It was my intention that they have a full, happy, joyful life. That is not always the case with the world the way it is but I think our Creator intended that for the human race. I sometimes wonder though...if He is all knowing etc...did He know we were going to be such a failure at times. I have to hope that He has faith that we will eventually learn what it is we need to learn to make it work at some point in time. I know I didn't answer your question...but I just found it interesting and wanted to contribute...

Genesis were sometime taken to be mythical by content.... Im not an atheist. I do respect the belief that a "good God" was the reason of our existence. Before adan and eve had discover sexual intimacy... they were just alone and their God had no worried. they were just as happy without problems, as according to the bibble. until they were sinned and then gone away to multiply... some school of thought had discovered that these rules should be applied in some special instances. If we are religious enough that is so much fanatic to every word by word written in the bibble then you are practicing bibiolatry (bibble idolatry). To take a deeper meaning of the bible you must express it into something realistic and use the phases (its meant) as a guiding principle in life. ....

I don't think we were created or we create our children for either joy or suffering. Life is about experience and it is how we respond to our experiences that define and determine the person we are.
