A machine that captures the energy of the wind and transfers the motion to an electric generator shaft. The kinetic energy created is transformed to electricity. note transformed--- Law of conservation of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed only changed from one form to another

Yes Vermont uses them. I would look it up online no one will be able to give you the details you need about the manufacture except the manufacturers.
