I can't speak for the "left" as I lean more to the
"right" but there are more murders and deaths
every day in the U.S. than the war in Iraq is
producing>>>but we don"t see any such
statistics in our liberal (left) media>

First, you assume all on the left are identical to each other; we aren't. Whoever told you that was lying to you.
Second, you assume that all 600,000+ people murdered were all going to blow themselves up, which is simply false.
Whoever told you that was lying to you.
Being a human being, I'm appalled at all of the loss of life, as well as the other forms of destruction (tens of thousands of Iraqis tortured and raped, millions made homeless -- all of it).
As the Iraqis have lost over 200 times as many as the Americans, and as it was the Americans who invaded Iraq, not the other way around, I'm more appalled by the mass murder of mostly innocent Iraqis. (Killing the few dozen terrorists we've killed does NOT make up for the over 600,000 non-combatants.)
If you were either reality-based or a human being, you'd probably feel the same way.

The "left" have always been more concerned about the American soldier who lost their life in war as well as the countless innocent civilians whose lives are lost and had no plans "to blow themselves up at a high school football game in Kansas."

Because there's no proof that "fighting them over there", (making our soldiers targets in Iraq), prevents the terrorists from flying over here. Applying a little logic to this assertion, consider that we don't even have a prayer of controlling the borders of Iraq. So they can all leave whenever they want to. And if they want the US OUT of the middle east, which seems to be one of their goals, what better way than to attack football games in Kansas and prove that the US presence in Iraq is NOT a deterrent to terrorism in the US.

Because their focus is appropriately on American Lives. Our continual perceived occupation of Iraq is the best possible recruitment poster for terrorism. Al Qaida is a pitiful enemy for us to lower ourselves to. They aren't a powerful military, they're a comparatively small gang of criminals. Bush's tactical bungling makes it much worse. The only thing worse than fist fighting a retarded guy, is looking like you're losing a fist fight with a retarded guy. It validates both their tactics, and cause, to the entire Middle East.

what kind of moron logic is this?
how are you drawing lines from the war in Iraq to kansas high school football games?
what is your evidence that one is causal to the other?
or is it just empty rhetoric like always? like concern for the F-ing country and for it's citizens belongs to the right.
you idiot's with your arguments that "beg the question" and you don't even know that you are doing it, and you aren't going to find out since intellectual pursuit is rarely way up there on the agenda of those enamored with the current administration.
some of this is general angst, there are intelligent conservatives out there, they just don't waste their time asking stupid questions like this one.

Ummm...
First off, the occupation of Iraq is creating more terrorists than it is stopping.
Second off, what Jihaddists have been threatening high school football in Kansas?
Third off, how many US soldiers do you think should die in order to prevent a situation for which you have provided no evidence?
Why do you want US soldiers to keep dying?

You are an idiot.
Your 'logic' is:
If one more 'jihadist' than American soldier is killed,
we win?
But,.... but,....... but,....... Bush and cronies's actions are creating hundreds of thousands of them!
Are you ready for the sacrifice?
Do you know where your nearest recruitment office is?

Using trade and aggressive diplomacy to connect nations' economies, raise the general standard of living and eradicate the traditional economic conditions that lead to war.
