Wiki, help!

Mostly protons traveling through deep space. Some has fantastically high energies. When they interact with stuff in the upper atmosphere, all sorts of interesting stuff can shoot out. We can learn some interesting particle physics from this sort of thing (Pierre Auger is the latest experiment). Unfortunately, although some incoming articles have fantastically high energies, there aren't enough of them coming in for us to learn as much as we can in modern accelerator experiments (like LHC).
