Well my personal favorite show was Spiderman TAS, while Batman certainly had a bit more brain to their plot, I felt like I could relate better to the younger Peter Parker. One qualm I have with the show is...WHY DID MARY JANE HAVE TO BE A WATER CLONE -_-??!!

I liked both shows too. But I only watched Batman when it involved a female villain (I guess I was a feminist when I was younger lol). I liked Spiderman, but they lost me with the whole Madame Web arc, and Peter mutating into a real spider, and especially the whole Mary Jane getting sucked into a black whole, coming back, and then come to find out that it was a water clone. That was more confusing drama than a soap opera.

Then again, I think I loved X-MEN the most, except when they dragged out that whole Phoenix saga...but, that's for another discussion.

I do remember both of those cartoons and was a huge fan of Batman TAS. I thought Spiderman was a little too bubbly at times and I love the dark eerie edge that Batman provided. It was such a good show that they even made an animated movie out of it that apparently did pretty well. Spiderman never did that. I loved both shows, but i couldn't wait to get home from school everyday and watch Batman on Fox. Plus, Spiderman was only on Saturdays for a long time.

I have all 108 episodes of Batman: the animated series, still watch it all the time.. it was a great show. FOX had a big hit on their hands back in the 90's.. I try to watch the new one called The Batman, but I just cant get into it.. I like the characters in TAS, and the way gotham city was portrayed, kind of old fashioned, but still modern, very cool...
