Why would a person send a picture of their genitals if someone asks them for a self picture. I mean, if they met me at a bar do they unzip their fly when you shake their hand? I don't get it
Is that what they think of themselves as- a penis or a butt? :\

A lot of gay people, especially older ones, are not properly socialized because of the times they grew up in.
In the 70s and 80s it was all about sex sex sex, that thought still permeates today, they don't know how to get attention without being sexual. The gay community also is too sex-centric and doesn't encourage this. I mean think of a gay bar, it looks like a social place, but most people are dressed to pick up, and a pub would make for easier chit-chat.
The best thing to do if they're nice people otherwise is to ask for a face picture and ignore it. Otherwise simply say you're not there to pick up, and say sorry if you gave off that vibe, tell them thanks anyways for the chat and move on to the next fella.

NO and YES what I mean is no, not if the person has the picture posted on my space or somthing like that and you right clicked and pulled the pic, or they sent it to your or someone you know. When you post a pic for all to see you give it up freely. Now here is where it isn't legal, if you stole the pic by hacking it there a data base, or you stole it from someones personal home or ect, you get what i mean. If you didn't get it legally some how. Here is the Number one illegal one MINORS are A NUMBER 1 NO. DO NOT POST MINORS. or simi or total nudes of minors you will go to Jail for kiddy porn. It is against the law and besides who would want to unless your a perve. One question for you why would you want to post someone else's pic that is being dishonest and when the person meets you they wont date you anyway. If your wanting to find a relationship why start it with lies. UN-cool.

You should just be more specific. Add "non-nude" to your self-pic requests and that should make it clear to the other party that you just want to see their face.

They are more interested in sex than anything else. They don't really care about the rest of you.
