Drew is done. He's a year older, and he can't possibly be getting better or more mobile. With the athletic pass rushers on most teams' defenses (and the teams that don't have them are looking for them!), he's not worth a roster spot any more. When you have guys like Jeff Garcia (old, but mobile and still somewhat effective) and David Carr (still young enough to get better) looking for work, it makes no sense to sign Bledsoe. If he wants to be a QB coach, maybe.....

He will end up in one of the franchises that are going to be looking for a fresh start. Teams like Cleveland and Oakland. They are both probably going to be getting the top 2 QB prospects in Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell, and they will need mentoring from a veteran like Bledsoe. Its been reported that Cleveland is looking at Trent Green, who is a good starter and who can still play and win. So, I think he will go to Oakland and will be a mentor for JaMarcus Russell, who has the potential to be very good, but needs some work opening up to his target and getting more accurate with his passes. I just dont think Bledsoe will be starting anywhere anytime soon, but I think he would be a perfect fit for Brady Quinn if he were to be drafted by Cleveland. He could turn Brady Quinn into a QB similar to Tom Brady. Cleveland already has some solid receivers in place, and just need somebody to throw to them. Then they can start winning.

I think he's a dead duck.
He'll only get backup positions at this point.
I think the perfect fit for him now would be the Houston Texans. They got rid of David Carr, and they have inexperienced Matt Schaub as the starter.
Let Bledsoe mentor Schaub, like Kurt Warner did for Eli Manning.
Then he can gracefully retire. Or coach.

Bledsoe has had it. He may sign with a team for basically nothing and stay as a mentor. I can see if the Raiders and Browns draft Russell and Quinn, he could be going to one of those teams to help them out.

Well, he is a year younger than Brett Favre...What does that tell you?...Favre was drafted in '92, and Bledsoe was drafted in '93...If the end is near for Favre, the end is not far behind for Bledsoe...But he could conceivably go to a team who will be taking a rookie QB in the draft, such as the Raiders, Lions or Browns, to start for a year while the rookie gets ready...

I enjoyed him at Washington State previously in the stone age. Bledsoe retired after being decrease via the cowboys and whats surprising is that with all the quarterback issues and injuries in the NFL this season I even have not heard of any team calling him up as even a lower back up. Jeeeeeesh they even further lower back Vinnie T. and hes like one hundred years previous. i think of Bledsoe strengthen right into a bust in the 2d a million/2 of his professional occupation and cant supply him corridor of repute attention.

What would Bledsoe mentor somebody in? How to play statue and get sacked? How to throw int's at the worst possible time? He could certainly do those things.

I think he will end up retiring. His chances of being a long term starting Quarterback are non-existent due to his age and lack of mobility. He has publically gone on record saying he doesn't want to mentor a younger QB, and he left Dallas because he doesn't want to be a backup. That pretty much leaves him with no options but retiring.
