Do you think the FCC violates the First Amendment? Do you think the FCC should be gotten rid of?

I don't think they violate the First Amendment, although it could be argued that they used to, back in pre-cable days.

I do think it's pretty pointless to have the FCC anymore, though.

No it does not. We do not have absolute freedom of speech. As long as their rulings could survive Supreme Court scrutiny then it is constitutional.

yes, yes. People should be able to make their own decisions about what they choose to watch and listen to on TV and radio. If something offends you, don't watch it. Why should those who WANT to watch it have to make a sacrifice?
