As others have said - why are you considering getting it done? If there's a medical reason, then you should be asking your doctor, not us. If there isn't, however, then you may want to reconsider.
The human foreskin is, despite claims to the contrary, there for a good reason. It protects the glans from damage, especially friction damage such as might be incurred by rubbing against your clothing. Cutting it off when you're an infant would have been bad enough, but doing so now would result in little more than a hell of a lot of pain and discomfort on your part for absolutely no gain whatsoever.
Various claims surrounding the benefits of circumcision centre on aesthetics (if a partner dumps you just because you either have or haven't got a foreskin, are they really worth keeping?) health and hygiene (surgery shouldn't seek to correct what soap and water can solve, surely?) and nebulous myths about curing premature ejaculation (premature ejaculation starts in the mind, not the penis).
You wouldn't cut one of your fingers off without a better reason than any of these. Don't cut anything else off, either.

Just say NO to genital mutilation!
ADVANTAGES OF BEING INTACT:
--Circumcision cuts WAY down on sexual enjoyment for the man due to loss of nerve-rich foreskin. A new study proves conclusively, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that circumcision decreases sensitivity for the man. http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06685.x
--Getting cut causes the glans (head) to develop a keratinized layer to protect from rubbing on clothing, further cutting sensation. Many cut men are unable to ejaculate during intercourse and have to finish "by hand." Intact men can "go all the way."
--nine out of ten women who have had both prefer intact penises: http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html That's really pretty definitive.
--foreskin makes masturbation more fun - and better for your partner to play with.
--Circumcision hurts when it's done, even if you were too young to remember it
--a cut penis looks kind of sad with that scar where the foreskin belongs. Uncut is much hotter looking.
--Circumcision has a slight chance of complications. Each year a few baby boys have to have their entire penises amputated and undergo surgery to make them into fake girls. And a few die.
ADVANTAGES OF BEING CUT: Circumcision has no advantages that are not fictional or only relevant in a few areas
--You can be just as clean if you are uncircumcised. Wash. It's THAT simple. Even if you're cut, you still need to wash.
-- If you're sleeping around, you need to use condoms regardless or you will get diseases.
--Some studies have shown a lower rate of cancer of the penis in cut guys, but this cancer is so rare that it's hard to get a good statistical sample. More boys/men die each year from botched circumcisions than from cancer of the penis.
--The US has the highest circumcision rate in the developed world and also the highest AIDS rate in that group. http://www.circinfo.org/hiv.html

New studies have found that it reduces sensitivity and sexual/masturbation pleasure. Those are new studies from this year, 2007. (well, previous studies had found similar)
Is there something wrong with your foreskin? If so, let me know. There's quite a few links I can supply you if you're having any problems.
Especially true if you're anywhere outside of the US, since the US is the only industrialized nation that does this in a major scale (Europe, Asia, Latin America don't do it at birth nor for cultural reasons later on)
Before someone goes on that a foreskin is dirty; I haven't had a problem with it. Stuff doesn't grow there unless you don't shower for like a week just like females can get smegma; otherwise you just slide it back and rub the head, which takes like five seconds and even feels good (you're rubbing the head!) when you shower. Cleaning has never been an issue for me.
When erect they look similar anyways, since the foreskin slides back.

Why exactly would you volunteer to have this done, unless you have a medical condition making it necessary.
provided you clean regularly you should have no hygiene issues. Also over time circumcision does reduce sensitivity somewhat.
Again assuming no medical condition it might be difficult as it certainly would not be an NHS procedure and many surgeons now often refuse ( on defense union advise) to carry it out at all.

Unless there is a medical reason for it, I'd advise against it. The older you get, the more painful it is. And it only requires a little extra effort to keep the fold clean.

My advice is don't do it.
Sonia S I can't believe that you would advocate someone being circumcised just because it looks great Why don't you have yourself circumcised I think it would look great and while you are about it,the nose and ears could go too

The Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV) defines premature ejaculation as a persistent or recurrent ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on or shortly after penetration and before a person wishes. Wow, that’s not a sexy definition. Personally, I define it as you come quicker than you or your partner wants. Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation https://tr.im/87cac

Yes, Dguy ... what is your reason for considering getting "it" done? No one can make an intelligent comment until you explain. The possible scenarios are legion and to do them all justice would require a book. Focus our attention, please.

You do not say why you want to have it done. That is important in being able to give you a good response.
