You just have to try the different brands until you found what works. With my son I went thru only buying pampers and huggies but i did find that the target brand diapers are comparable to pampers. they're really good

Some brands are better than others, but you don't need the expensive brands to get quality diapers. For instance: My oldest daughter, for the first three months, all she wore were huggies, but she kept getting rashes, no matter how often we changed her or put cream on. When we switched to the store brand, she didn't get them anymore. The same thing happened with my son with pampers. Except that because he has INCREDIBLY sensitive skin, he would get lesions on his tummy from the diapers. Again, we switched to the store brand, and had no further problems. Quality is FAR more important than brand.

No, but with a newborn there are certain brands, like Pampers Gentle Care, that have a little nitch cut out to go around the umbilicle cord so you don't have to fold the diaper down. Once the cord stump is off, the only thing that matters is that it's a good fit and doesn't irritate the babys skin

Overall no, but I found Huggies to be way better then Pampers and that Baby Basics brand. Also, Huggies have way less perfume in them. Seriously, had to buy a package of Pampers brand once because the store didn't have Huggies. The perfume coming off those things was overpowering.

I think it depends on the baby. My son will soak through store brand diapers and Luvs overnight. Huggies and Pampers do just fine. Good Luck.

It mattered for my children. I tried Luvs and my kids both broke out in rashes around the elastic on their legs. I've always used Pampers during the day b/c I like them best but Huggies Overnights were a savior in preventing wetting through at night once my newest little guy started sleeping through the night. I wonder if Pampers makes a counterpart to the Huggies Overnights?

It can matter. Some babies are actually allergic to some brands (Huggies mostly being the culprit). Which brand fits the best, gives the best leak protection, and the price should all be taken into account. I used Pampers on my little guy (and still do actually). Luvs, no name brands...the list goes on and on. Trial and error is key.

all diapers are not created equal...unfortunately it's true. Doesn't make the most expensive brands the best either. You need to do a test with your own baby see which fits best. I was always a fan of Huggies, HATED Pampers. Luvs weren't bad either.

nicely i do no longer see how he would desire to be wearing length 3. there is not any way. My boy is approximately 21 lbs and he's honestly a length 4. He replaced into leaking via huggies at night so I replaced him to "pampers cruisers". they have so lots greater coverage on infant. verify you element his penis downward as quickly as you're putting on his diaper. additionally on the programs of diapers they provide the load which the infant could be to positioned on diapers yet i do no longer in basic terms bypass by potential of that. I additionally bypass by potential of ways nicely the diaper fits exceedingly around the legs. Too tight potential larger length diaper needed even though if the lbs fits. I actually have a corpulent boy so thats why it fairly is a lil diverse. He to is often interior the ninety% + in weight

It depends on the child. My son can wear about anything during the day but we need to put him in the huggies overnites at bedtime or he soaks through. Its all personal choice. Pampers baby dry are awesome but pricey. Also, some kids are allergic to materials in certian diapers.
