friends i need some of the major points that why india shouldn't stop playing cricket.
as its my debate tom.....so i require really gud points to prove

any team can suffer disasters
bangladesh didn't win for a long time..did they stop..no! they toppled india once more!!
and suppose india/pakistan resurect and win next world cup...even a slight chance...would u not give 1.16billion ppl something to look forward to?

I do not find any reason why India should stop playing cricket as irrespective of their pathetic performance, India still have got a good team with the mixture of experienced players and young talents. The only problem as I can see is that the most experienced players think too much about themselves and do not like any questioning or criticism about their attitude. Once this attitude is changed and if every body in the team learn tom respect each other, India can be a very strong team not only in paper but by winning matches.

i think you're debate makes no sense at all
dont mind saying that but there are lot of things that arent well in India so that means Indians should stop working on those as well
and its just a game
u r just taking this too seriously
i have heard india does not do well in other sports so does that means they should quit playing those games as well
i doubt if u will find any reasonable user in here to debate with the issue that u have raised

Win and defeat is part of the game but the way they were ousted from world cup does hurt. India should not stop playing cricket but they should stop playing bad cricket. They are such a talented side with many "stars" but when you need them to shine they fade. I think the whole Indian cricket set up needs to be "repair" .
