zoloft is best. they say its better to take zoloft then not because it is worse to be depressed. i didnt take it during pregnancy but i didnt say anything, i just had a baby and i breastfeed so i went on zoloft cuz it is the safest. dont worry, by taking care of yourself, your taking care of your baby.

I am 35 weeks pregnant with my third and last baby and I have taken Zoloft on and off during all of my pregnancies. I haven't experienced any out of the ordinary side effects or problems. Just make sure you eat something before taking it or you will have nausea.

I took Zoloft during 2 of my pregnancies and my girls are healthy and fine with no problems at all. They are actually much calmer than my other kids, the dr says that is because I was calmer during my pregnancy, BUT my doctor did have me wait until my 2nd trimester to start the pills, I am not sure why but she had me go off the pills until I was in my second trimester. That may ba a question for your doctor, if there a reason to wait until later in pregnancy. God Bless ;)

Not zoloft, but my aunt took paxil while pregnant and her baby was stillborn. The doctor said the paxil may have caused the baby to have a stroke. Talk to your doctor about Wellburtin , it has way less side affects and has been around for a long time. You can always start the Zoloft again after you have the baby.

i've got been taking zoloft without ingredient effects.... can not say it is had numerous a favorable consequence the two however. The physician pronounced that at approximately 200mg/day is once you start to get the ingredient effects. while you're on a decrease dosage it would be ok.

I took it for the last half of my pregnancy. before, i wasn't sleeping or eating, severe depression, etc due to my husband leaving me and our 2 year old for a stupid gold digging blonde. I had NO adverse side effects and my beautiful baby girl was born healthy...much healthier than had I continued on my downward spiral. I still continue to take zoloft today. Best of luck to you.

I took it through my entire pg with my 2nd daughter and she's perfect...I was on it when I got pg with my 3rd (34 weeks pg now) and I opted to stop taking it around 4 months. But not due to side effects...I had other reasons. Everyone and every dr is different, so consult your dr if you have concerns. :)
Take care!!
