As stated here, Anydvd program will help you to copy the DVD, however, keep in mind that if the DVD is encrypted like most of the Sony or Disney movies are, then you need to also get a decrypter. Try finding programs like "ripit4me" "shrinkit", etc. They have decrypters in there that will allow you to do that. Also, have you thought about a screen capturing program? If you only want small parts of the DVD - then why bother with the entire movie. Just get a screen capture and copy the parts you want.

I download movies from Zultrax, which is like limewire P2P. Those movies never have copywrite protection on them and i just drag and drop from my burned dvd to hardrive folder that I call Movies. Works every time. I've never tried from Movie Dvds.

I am no pro - but I think you actually may need a dvd recording program. Additional to the xp.

Hi there. I recommend you download "Nero 7 Premium". Although it's a free trial version, it's excellent.

If you search in Google you'll find the serial number so that you can use it without limits.

Hope you can use it!!
