I guess I am ignorant much. As I do not know what the "whole breed banning thing" is.

Do you mean to say "whole bread"? I think the whole grain bread thing is way, way overated. I eat old fashioned white bread which is just as expensive as the whole grain breads. For generations, folks ate Wonder bread and they came out okay, as far as I know.
