I think Daniel Craig is probably the best Bond yet, but that's probably because I wasn't around in the 60s when the first movies were made, and if I was then I'd probably appreciate Connery a lot more than I do. I just think that Casino Royale is probably the most well written and played out 007 film to date.

Connery has always been my fav and will always be tops for the franchise. But this new guy, Daniel Craig (who's not really new to cinema) brought a touch more realism to the character.
I think that's due to having a very good story, absolutely fantastic script and less of the ridiculous gadgetry.
But going back to Connery, I was just watching Gold Finger. My favorite line in the movie, "Do you expect me to talk Goldfinger"?
"No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die"...

I think Sean Connery has been the best Bond ever followed by Pierce Brosnan.

Well, it is a little early yet to undertake a survey like that as the new Bond has made only 1 picture. Wait until he makes a few more and then ask.

Different eras, different toys, and different action.
BUT.. Sean Connery set the standard and still remains the best.
The new guy ain't bad tho.. but too rough around the edges.

Connery was probably the best, but Moore had a great sense of humor, and his 007 was more cerebral than Connery's.

Classics are always better! Connery was super hot. Daniel Craig did a great job, though! Mr. Casino Royale was looking pretty darn sexy!
