Sanjaya Malakar's name means (triumph) in another language!! Is this a sign he will win American Idol? And if he does will american idol fail?

Sanjaya is your next American Idol.
Of course he can sing! The judges would've never put him through.
He has a sweet sultry voice and he can also wail (You Really Got Me). He's the most exciting entertainer AI has ever seen.
Sanjaya is carrying the whole show on his teenage shoulders, yet he hits it out of the park week after week with absolutely no support from the judges.
Sanjaya - Go go young pro! Your fans are behind you 200%.

I hope not! I think his sister had a better chance going to American Idol. Sanjaya can't sing is what my personal opinion is on that, however I'm sure the viewers who watch American Idol feel the same why about Sanjaya. The kid should do modeling instead of sing. I don't know, but American Idol to me is finding an outstanding person who has an incredible voice. American Idol is about finding good talent, but instead it has become a popularity show.

It's very possible he could win, yeah. Just depends on the votes, of course. No, American Idol won't fail if Sanjaya wins. He's actually helping the ratings this year. People tune in to see what he's going to do next.

I hope not. I think people who hate American Idol are just voting for him to make the rest of us mad. Sanjaya doesnt even seem lie he wants to be there anymore.

well we all have to admit that he had an awesome tryout, but maybe he just couldnt handle the first steps of fame..and in conclusion he became weird and his voice sucks!!! so if america is crazy enough he probably will win..but when considering actual singing skill...he definitly should NOT win..have u checked out the sanjaya anthem video on youtube?? its hilarious

Yes it will. Americans do not know how to vote!
There should be a limit to voting like Dancing with the Stars.
I will not be watching American Idol next year if this little pic-scweek, Sangria wins. This little rat has not talent and he is not cute!! I'm tired of watching good talents leave!!!
