when i have my wedding, i'll be walking myself down the aisle. i think the whole tradition is severely outdated, i am no one's posession, therefore i have no need to be "given away".

My uncle walked me down the aisle. My dad died 2 years before I got married so I asked his brother to do it.

No one. Didn't have an aisle. My 'mama and daddy' from the church were unable to get out, so we got married in their living room, in front of their lovely fireplace.

no aisle, it was at the courthouse, but my 2 older kids, stood with me and my hubby, and our families were there.
