The three angles in a triangle always add up to 180 degrees.
Knowing the ratio 10:6:29 an equation can be set up so that 10x + 6x + 29x = 180
45x = 180
x = 4
Substitute x back into each ratio to find each angle
10*4 = 40
6*4 = 24
29*4 = 116
Hope this helps

The angles in a triangle all add up to 180, so
10 + 6 + 29 = 45
180/45 = 4
so, F = 10 x 4 = 40
P = 6 x 4 = 24
J = 29 x 4 = 116

OK.....the three angles of a triangle always add up to 180 degrees..... the ratio of your triangle is 10 : 6 : 29 ..... so if you add those three you get forty five.... now you know that you have to multiply each of those by four so the angles are 40, 24, and 116.

the sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degress
they are in the ratio 10:6:29. let's say they are each a multiple of x
so the sum of the angles is 10x + 6x + 29x = 45x = 180
so x is 4 degrees
and the angles are 40, 24, 116 degrees

Let each angle be 10x,6x and 29x.
Sum of all angles will be 10x + 6x + 29 x = 45x.
Also sum of all angles in a triangle is 180 degree
So,45x = 180
x = 180/45 = 4
So,angles are,
10x = 10(4) = 40
6x = 6(4) = 24
29x = 29(4) = 116

in every triangle, the sum of the three angles totals 180 degrees. so to find the angles, you have to setup an equation so that the sum of the three angles = 0
so let 10x = angle F
6x = angle P
29x = angle J
Now add them together and set them equal to 180
10x + 6x + 29x = 180
45x = 180
x=4
angle F = 10 x 4 = 40
angle P = 6 x 4 = 24
angle J = 29 x 4 = 116

OK.. its pretty simple when you remember that the sum of the angles in a triangle must be 180 degrees
so you just do simple ratios
10+6+29 = 45
angle F = 10/45 * 180 or 40 degrees
angle P = 6/45 * 180 or 24 degrees
get it..?
You can practice with the last one 'J'.
now............go impress your kid..

All angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees (ALL)
From here:
180/ (10+6+29) = 4
1st angle --> 40 degrees
2nd angle --> 24 degrees
3rd angle --> 116 degrees
EDIT: You can try drawing different triangles and measuring all of their angles and they will definitely add up to 180 degrees.
No algebra is needed for this problem either.

The ratio of the angles could be 10:6:29. the sum of all anlges in a trianlge 180 degress.
10x+6x+29x = 180, x = 4
Your angles are 40, 24, and 116
I agree this is a poorly worded question. Sometime teachers and the people who write the books are such dumb asses.

just make it an algebra problem
10x+6x+29x=180
45x=180
x=4
the angles are 40, 24 and 116 degrees.
