I don't think you can say 'what type of motorcycle is best'.
At the end of the day it's a personal choice whether you like a sports bike, cruiser or ordinary roadster such as a Suzi Bandit. Perhaps you might prefer a large single (as a few people do), or a twin or a multi cylinder bike(which is the most popular type of engine). Ultimately you go for what you like.

Just about all the motorcycle makers make V-twins. In recent years, they've gotten fatter and more massive. If you want one that still goes around corners, get a used Yamaha Virago 750 or a used Suzuki Intruder 800.

Are you trying to get someone to guess your riddle? That's what it sounds like with all the statements in there.

My first v-twin was a Yamaha, went around corners real good. My latest v-twin is a Harley, and it can be faster, if I push it. With 3 times the displacement, it ought to.

I don't think it's about "the best" it's more about choice and ther is some great choice out there

Sport, tourer, cruiser trike it's just a matter of your own likes and dislikes.

You indicate that you are not a fan of the USA builds. I happen to like them and have a Harley. That said I also have a Goldwing and a VT750 so you now see that my choice is in that area.

Others may think I am mad but thats their choice

Whatever you choose just enjoy it and ride safe

Good luck

Japanese or Italian stay away from the 2 wheeled Massey Fergusons re branded as Harleys

Nothing beats a Japanese or Italian sportsbike, though I'm also a sucker for naked bikes like the Ducati Monster. Ducati makes plenty of v-twin beasts.

Harleys might look rather cool, but they're for fat blokes who have an irrational fear of razors, and they're slow.... and they corner like pigs on an icerink.

Cruisers will hate on me but I think sport bikes are best because they can take punishment and I am not a fan of belt driven rides.

Oh, did mommy let you play with the computer all by yourself. You might as well go to the religion section and ask which one of those is best. What a juvenile question.
