Your baby should probably drop around 36 weeks maybe a little later. You will feel a lot better as far as having an easier time breathing, heartburn, if you had any might decrease also. However... you will have more pressure on your bladder, so you know what that means!!!! Yup more frequent trips to the bathroom. As far as diapers go I only use Pampers. I have had real bad luck with Luvs, and huggies are okay too but my boys seemed to go through more huggies than pampers. The best are the Pampers Swaddlers for newborns, and then the Pampers cruisers after that. But you may want to try different diapers at first and find what works best for your baby. Congrats and best wishes to you and baby.

The baby usually drops (remember with every pregnancy it's never the same for everyone) It happens around 2-4 weeks before delivery. Sometimes, not at all until labor even begins, usually that's with second or third time moms, but again, it's never the same for everyone.
What you'll most likely feel is more pressure in your pelvic area, again having to go to the bathroom alot more as the baby's head is now again on your bladder. MIght feel more tightening in your groin, and your thighs even from added pressure, maybe you'll feel like your walking like a duck, maybe not. Again sometimes the baby doesn't drop till labor as already begun, and sometimes even sooner than 2-4 weeks before hand. The thing to keep in mind is, even if they drop it doesn't really give you a time reference to when the big day will be.

With my first , I used pampers and huggies. WIth my second, I coudln't live without the swaddlers by pampers, they are the best in my opinion, but keep in mind not all babies are alike either. A diaper that works well for a boy my not for a girl, and the other way around. But I say you can't go wrong with the swaddlers by pampers, huggies are good also, but they didn't work for my daughter.

Congrats, and good luck!

I'm 31 weeks, and I have no idea about the baby dropping!! Luvs are the best diapers though.. We tried every other kind and Luvs held up the best! Don't ever try huggies!! That's what they use at the hospital too.. don't ask me why?.. They are horrible! They leak everytime!!! Also, we switched to White cloud diapers, sold in Walmart when he got a little bit older like in size 2 ... They work really good too, and not very expensive!

The baby will drop in the last few weeks.

As for diapers, everyone has a different opinion, because every baby is different. One brand may be great on one baby, and be awful on another baby, because just like us their bodies are different and the diapers are all cut different like clothing is. What leaks on one baby may be the only kind that doesn't leak on another baby. When they are newborn, I think Pampers really are the best, but as soon as they go up to the next size I wasn't going to pay the Pampers price anymore. Just get a small pack of each kind and try them all until you see what works best for your baby.

The Newborn Pampers Swaddlers are the best diaper for newborns. My son is 6 weeks old and even my husband swears by the pampers. The Huggies leak and I was changing his clothes every time I changed his diaper, which was like every hour. I swear newborns pee like every 10-15 minutes because he fills a diaper in an hour. Get the pampers and just fold the top down to accommodate his cord until it falls off. Good Luck :)

None of mine dropped, but all three have been carried very low so I'm not much help there, but as far as diapers, I like pampers or luvs the best, and I think luvs are cheaper, my opinion is that they prevent leaks well and arent at all too bulky, huggies on the other hand I found to be bulky, the cheaper ones leak and can make a mess. Good luck!

My baby dropped around 35 weeks I think..then I had him about ten days earlier than my due date. My sister loves Pampers because you can tell very quickly when they are wet...I per fer Huggies because I am poor and they hold more away from the skin longer...so you don't need to use as many..I also have found that for a generic choice bear essentials are good and about $4 cheaper than name brand.

I was around 36-37 weeks when my baby dropped. I always used Pampers when my son was a baby. I would stay away from Luvs...(At least a couple of years ago) They are plastic, and I got a pack at my baby shower, I used a couple on my little guy and he had such an awful diaper rash from them, that I never used them again.

Your baby may drop around 34-36 weeks or so. Every pregnancy is different. My suggestion for Diapers are Luvs. They are not expensive and work great. I tried every brand of diapers and will always stick to Luvs.

Every one drops at different times and stages. Some will not drop until they are in full blown labor while others drop before 30 weeks. Widely varies. As far as diapers...PAMPERS are the absolute best. They fit best, hold in pee and poop the best, and really aren't the best price but best quality all around. Good luck, your so close and congratulations!!!
