Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholic adults are supposed to abstain from all food and drink the entire day to the extent that their health permits.
Traditionally Roman Catholics also maintain a strict fast, save for daily communion. Though in USA most of those who do fast, allow one small vegetarian meal, that is smaller then a regular meal, taken after the sun sets.

Anything meatless. Fish. Pasta without meat. Cheese pizza. Cheese sandwiches. Tuna. No chicken or red meat.

Traditionally, my mother would tell us no meat on Good Friday - which means fish (like whiting, tuna, shrimps, crab, etc), pizza, veggie dishes

At my old restaurant, it was walleye night. I mean literally cases of walleye. I personally eat whatever I want, I'm a fallen Presbyterian.
