I am renovating a house and just wondering if by code we are still allowed to incorporate the laundryroom in the same space as the bathroom so as to make it a dual purpose room.
Thank you :)

The only thing I have ever heard of that was not allowed in the bathroom is a water heater that is not in a confined area. Many houses have the laundry room in the kitchen so I don't think it would be a health hazard.

I've never heard of a code barring you from this, check with your local city ordinance, be sure to use GFI (ground fault) outlets

as far as I know, it's ok.. but you should call your county code office before going with any advice posted here..
