can u give me a few historically accurate reasons y past-Amerca needed the Articles of confederation??

The country needed certain rules to establish the role of the government and relationship between the states. The old rules of colonial rule obviously did no longer apply and anarchy was not the goal of the young nation. The biggest issue was to ensure that the states worked together for not only interstate commerce, but also military protection. The biggest reason it was later replaced by the constitution is that it did not represent states in proportion to their population or outline personal freedoms.

The Articles of Confederation were the precursor to the Constitution of the United States. It basically said that the colonies would work together, especially against any invader who tried to take them over.
