The easiest and simplest thing to do is make sure you drink plenty of water and eat salty foods. (I know, usually doctors dont recommend salt, but thats becuase for most people HIGH blood pressure is the problem, not low!) Low blood pressure isn't in and of itself a problem unless it leads to symptoms like lightheadedness, dizziness, or passing out.

Also, make sure you don't have excessively heavy periods; blood loss from periods can cause low blood pressure. See your doc. Hope that helps.

90 60 Blood Pressure

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

I know how you feel. My blood pressure is very low too - generally 100/60 and it went down to 80/40 when I was pregnant. Everyone always said how lucky I was but it used to make me feel faint. In the UK, nobody seems to think it's a problem but after a big meal, when all the blood rushes to your stomach, it makes you feel worse than ever.

I make sure I eat small regular meals, which helps a bit. Other than that, I think on the continent they consider it to be more of a problem but it's hard to find a website on it in English. I do tend to have salt on my food as well (against all advice but what does salt do? Raise your blood pressure!) but I always drink a lot of water too.

I don't know what to recommend but go and see your doctor if you are feeling unwell. I hope it all goes OK for you.

A blood pressure of 90/60 is lower than the average person, however for you it is likely completely normal. As a matter of fact 120/80 is now being eyes as too high in the medical community. You should feel blessed that you weren't cursed with high blood pressure like I am! By the way, I'm a doctor.

You should read "The Blood Pressure Solution" (also available in electronic format, watch the video presentation here: http://www.fixbloodpressure.com ) It's a very comprehensive step-by-step book that walks you through the natural remedies of high blood pressure. It provides you with a lot of information on what foods to eat, how you can acquire and prepare these foods, how you can change your lifestyle for the better, how to eliminate the toxins from your body, how to reduce stress, how you can check your blood pressure level the correct way etc.

The book is amazing in that it not only lowers your blood pressure without the help of medications; it also aids you in having a life that is healthy, happier, and less stressful. This book chanced my life.

My blood pressure has always been low too. As far as I know there is no reason to try to "cure" it. Eat plenty of protein rich foods and get plenty of fresh veggies and fruit. Aspirin can cause your pressure to drop and thin your blood so try other pain relievers instead.
