I heard several billionaires have given away huge portions of that money to charity . Do you think it will save their Souls . After all to get rich you have to hurt a lot of people . Buffet made his money braking down manufacturing companies and looting the pension funds . Millions lost pensions homes and they say around 20,000 so called accidental deaths occurred to collect on insurance to save wifes and kids by husbands .

Nope, I am not super rich, just middle class. And, I do not attend church. But, I still support Bush. So this hypothesis is incorrect. Try again.

It's fun to argue about politics and all, but when I see liberals insulting the rich and thinking they only got that way by stepping on others...it honestly makes me sad. You probably got that kind of loser thinking from you parents, and you'll pass it on to your own kids.

In reality, anyone in America has an equal shot at becoming one of the financial elite int eh top 1% if they so choose.

Just like "eat right and exercise" holds true for a diet, to gain wealth one must: save at least 10% of everything they earn (before bills, fun, etc..NOT of what is left over...do this FIRST), don't waste your money (understand the difference between want and need, you NEED clothing and food, you don't NEED a giant flat screen TV), work hard..people notice that, get an education or perhaps go into sales, or do both, let your gold mulitply...in other words, consult with someone wise in the way of money (financial advisor) and set up some mutual funds, own your own home, don't lease your car, etc.

Everyone in America has a fair shot and it does not involve stepping on others.

Good luck!

1. A small part of the population, actually the poor and uneducated are still supporting Bush. This people believe everything a person in authority says.
2. Big oil and weapons manufacturers support Bush, they all got mega rich in the last 6 years.
3. We are a democracy and if people want to support a corrupt spineless monkey, so be it. Luckily the majority said fool me once, fool me twice, but not three times.

i don't really know...but i truly don't see a connection to the people who support bush being church goers or rich.
a lot of the military members support bush. (i live in a military community)
no one at our church stands up and says I support bush...and there are some super rich people who go to church there....hmmm maybe i should ask them.
im poor, go to church and support bush at least sometimes...but not always. he is human and makes mistakes also.
and no giving away money does not save a soul....the only way to save a soul is thru JESUS!! and the shedding of his blood.....talk about a price to pay!!!!

Nice little fantasy world you live in. Your way too simple to understand that things aren't quite what they seem. First I'm not even close to being super rich, and I support Bush. I don't wait around for my government to hand out money for doing nothing, I earn my living. I do go to church and am not sure why in your estimation that is a bad thing.

According to the phrasing of your question, the Kennedys should be supporting Bush. Try taking a look at some of those liberals who are against Bush. Many of them are super rich, also. Why is it that people forget to mention that about them, but like to assume that any conservative or person who supports Bush must be extremely wealthy?

There is nothing immoral in being rich or going to Church. Your claim that a person can only get rich by hurting others shows your ignorance. A lot of rich people have reached the positions were they are today by hard work and honesty. IMHO, they are under no obligation to give money to charity but only do so out of their desire to do good to their community.

Not the super rich, but you are right about the church goers.
One day they will wake up and realize how foolish they are. But this may have to wait for few more millions years.
