Oh, bush will pound his fist and say that the only reason they didn't, in this case, is because they are afraid of his wrath.
Of course he'll mis-pronounce the word "wrath."
LOL
The man's a total joke on humanity, but a deadly joke for our brave military.
...and to the answerer down below, stay fan1: Yes GWB believes that the holocaust took place, after all a good friend and business associate of his family's orchestrated the entire thing.
His name was Adolph Hitler, and Prescott Bush, George's Grand-daddy, helped finance his rise to power.

Doesn't matter, Bush wants to kill all Muslim nations. I sure hope '08 gets here quickly, before we go to war with some other country that doesn't stand a chance against us but manages to put us in a situation where doing the right thing will appear that we quit and suffered a defeat when in actuality the war ended when the statue was brought down.

Now we know they seperated the female from the males and told her they let the males go leaving her to be the only British hostage left. Can you imagine the horror she faced? Now can you imagine the horror the soldiers would have faced had Iran already obtained a nuclear arsenal? Do you think the resolution would have been so simple?
And G.W. Bush has the same explanation. IF, Iran is allowed to obtain nuclear weapons they will use them to take the whole world hostage, only now ,he can use how the regime took British soldiers hostage -in complete disregard of international law- as further evidence of his position.
Understand?

Do you know the difference between a POW, a hostage, and an illegal combatant? The British sailors werent conducting terrorist operations and werent out of uniform so they werent illegal combatants. (thereby subject to forms of torture) They werent even engaging Iranian military targets nor are they at war with Iran, so they arent POW's. They were engaged in a patrolling the waters of Iraq and were ABDUCTED. So therefore they were hostages.
And btw, reports are coming out that they held mock executions, put blindfolds on them, made hostage videos, and put them in confinement. Those are actions consitant of a tyrannical regime that takes hostages.
So why dont you try condemning evil int he world instead of attacking Bush who is trying to keep this country safe, even for libs like you.

Iran denies the Holocaust, wants Israel wiped off the map, wants to develop nuclear energy (a precursor to nuclear weapons) even though they have huge oil reserves, and has supported terrorists targetting the US as far back as Abu Nidal....
...and just because they illegally seized 15 UK sailors, and then let them go in an orchestrated PR move, you are ready to use IRAN as an example to criticize GWB?
Wow. It worked. The Iranian propoganda maneuveur worked. well, on you at least...

Correction, it would appear that they have not used those techniques *in this particular situation.* However a quick history lesson in Iranian hostage taking will paint a much different picture. Please do not lose sight of history for snap-shot judgments.

Did you just fall off the turnip truck? Yeah, real humane in front of a world audience. They did however break the Geneva convention's rules on detainees. Grow up.
