I'm with you on that one .. it's murder!
a life is a life. murder is murder. period.
it's horrible .. those little babys feel pain just like you and me .. its so sad :(
they give animals better rights! (PITA for example) .. they'd never let you torture an animal like that .. but yet they have no problem ripping the heart out of a baby .. its awful :(
God bless!

While I do agree with you, we live in a world where not everyone sees that as true. I believe in some circumstances that abortion is the best option when the mother and baby's life is in danger (ectopic pregnancy) or in the case of rape/incest. However I have come to make the argument for rape/incest that Plan B is available so the pregnancy can be avoided if the woman goes to her doctor and speaks up, but some are too afraid, which I can't blame them. I still would not look down on anyone who had an abortion because I know they live with the sadness of a lost baby. I've never known any woman who has had an abortion that has not regretted it. I think adoption is the best way to fix the situation. It's not the baby's fault that their mother conceived them, so why punish them?

First of all I am pro choice i do believe abortion is wrong in some aspects but on the other hand it is a womans choice. If a woman is raped or has an alcoholic abusive husband i think there should be a choice as to not keeping the baby. I feel that if a woman is not ready for a baby i believe that baby should not be brought into the world. You always hear on the news how kids are starved or abused that to me is wrong those parents had no right to bring those children into the world! To me those children would have been better off not being born it wasn't like they had a life anyway and they weren't loved. Some of those woman cannot make the right choice and choose to keep a child they cannot take care of because they are too selfish to give the child up!!! plus they know that they get money and other bennefits for having that child and not being able to take of it.

Okay, so first of all the life that they are "getting rid of," is NOT a baby. It is barely developed at all. It cannot think, and it has no nerves yet, so it cannot feel pain. Secondly, we need to start thinking about the issue of overpopulation. Isn't it better to "get rid of" a life that cannot feel or think yet, than to have people viciously killed by bombings and guns, and having their limbs blown off in Iraq? they are dying in pain, and they can feel it, and think about it. I think that it is definitely a better choice to have an abortion if you do not want your baby than to let it live. If a woman doesn't want her baby, and she doesn't get an abortion, she will probably abuse the child of treat it very badly. Her other choice is to give it up for adoption. You might think that this is better that having an abortion, but if you have never seen an orphanage, you don't know how bad it is. Many people adopt kids from Asia and even Africa nowadays, while there are many American kids sitting around in orphanages. The older kids have even less chance of getting adopted, because most people looking to adopt a child want a baby. Studies have shown that kids who are in orphanages for their whole life and then at the age of 18 are sent out into the world have a much higher crime rate, from stealing, to raping and abusing. (and rape just causes more women who do not want their babies) About the doctors, I'm sure that most of the ones who do abortions believe it is not a sin, and they probably sleep well at night, knowing that they have prevented lots of problems, including a potentially very miserable life of a person. As my bumper sticker wisely puts it, "if you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?"

I would have to question why you are in "shock." I do not think it is shocking that women have rights over their bodies. Doctors are providing them the safe means to go about doing this.
I doubt that any doctor would have a sleepless night over this unless they were troubled. You see, to me, doctors who provide these services are just doing their job. They assist with a woman's health. When people view it as "wrong" they are basing their judgments on emotion and religion. Both are subjective freedoms of conscience and belief.
Therefore, perhaps some doctors do, but that that is their CHOICE! - Their "right" to loose sleep. Thankfully we live in a free country, free from oppression and free from tyranny, where people cannot tell us what to believe!

It is paying someone to "get rid" of the "baby, fetus, cells" whatever you want to call it at that stage of the game. There are many reasons why someone would have it done.
a 9 yr old gets raped by her father. Carry the baby to term and possibly die? No terminate the pregnancy. (the earliest on record for person giving birth of a child was 5 years old so don't tell me it couldn't happen to a 9 yr old)
Mother has children at home and comes against another pregnancy that she was avoiding because of health complications. She is going to die adn leave her other children behind... She has options.
Mother has multiple pregnancy and they will all die so they select two or three of the strongest ones and terminate the others.
There are a ton of reasons. Mothers that have had it done have gone through sleepless nights, doctors have too. Our place as the people around them is to listen and support them in their choices in life. Unless we want to be judged for our actions in this life we should not judge others.

It is not illegal because the US Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that laws eliminating a woman's right to discuss with her doctor, and make medical decisions regarding her health are not constitutional. Until you have had to make that difficult choice, please do not pass judgement on others who have had that situation. Until we have a foolproof method of preventing unwanted pregnancies, universally available and universally acceptable, do not force your religious views on others who do not share them. That is one of the basic principles the US was founded upon. Many have the opinion that the fetus is a "child", and therefore abortion is murder. Many others believe that the fetus is exactly that- a fetus. It is my opinion that until the child is born, it is not a child. It is a part of the woman carrying the fetus. It should be her right to decide, with the consultation of her physician, what is best for her health-- physical, mental, and emotional. Not yours or the government's.

This is a difficult question. Yes, I think that some day the Dr's will have to answer for their part in the crime of murdering innocent babies. Most people believe that the baby is not truly a baby until the end of the first trimester. That is how they rationalize what they are doing. This is not true!! The bible says that God knew you before you were in the womb. That baby is a precious life from the moment the sperm reaches the egg. As to why its not illegal, that is because people are blinded to the truth about abortion. Hope this helps!!

i have had an abortion about five months ago. Im not going to lie it is killing but i try to think of it as the best choice. Alot of people cant take care of a child at such a young age or money isnt right at the time to have a baby or want to finsish here collage. now i will agree with alot of people why have unportected sex if ur going to get preg..Lets just say people dont think till it happens. Im sure doctors cant sleep at night. But i think they think of it as its just another baby not brung into this world when the perants know they cant take care of the child. i think people should stop thiking it as kills a baby and think of the reasons why they prob did it. Trust me i regret wat i did more then anything but im only 18 yrs old i got my whole life and i know wat i did was wrong but i couldnt do it alot. SO stop MAKING PEOPLE FEEL LIKE **** THERE JUST DOING WATS BEST FOR THEM IN LIFE.

I have discovered that most doctors that do it have different beliefs than those against it. Not only that....it pays well. But it's a question of many that cannot be fully explained....why do we have murderers, rapist, robbers, molestors, etc in this world....we just will never know. It is illegal in alot of states and cities but some just haven't banned it yet and may never.
I'm sure when they first started the procedure, it may have weighed on their minds quite a bit, but then after so many....it just becomes their job/career.
