my 1999 chevy tahoe is making noise when i put it in reverse and drive but more in reverse.

take it to an automotive shop to let them check it out. or maybe if you have power steering, than you are just low on the fluid. Good luck

We'll need more information about the type of noise you are referring too. Is it going into gear and then clanging or clunking, or is the noise more of a whine or grind? Be specific as a lot of these are very difficult to diagnose with the vehicle let alone over the net.

if its making a "clanging noise" when you put it in gear it is probably a u-joint
