Poke a hole in each end with a pin. Because it's you first time making them, you should probably go ahead and make the hole about the size of a pencil the first few times or the egg might break in your hands (gross!). Then just put the egg over the sink and blow into one end until the egg stuff comes out. After you get the hang of it you can make smaller and smaller holes. Have fun!

With a raw egg, you take a small needle or pin (sometimes a heated pin helps) and poke a tiny hole in both the top and the bottom of the egg. Then put your mouth over the hole and blow it out over a bowl so the insides don't get everywhere. It may be hard to get it started coming out, but once you do it's pretty simple. After you've blown it out completely wipe it carefully with cloth to remove any mess, then paint away (vegetable dyes work also). If this isn't working for you and you and it's not a big deal to keep the egg you can always hard boil it and then paint it....you just won't be able to keep it around for next year (make sure to toss these eggs after a week or so).

Make a very small hole, with a thick sewing needle or something like that, in the top end, a slightly bigger hole in the bottom. Then blow in the top, with the egg over a suitable receptical obviously. If you can get hold of a syringe to blow the air in the top that can make the job easier. Make sure you have pierced the membrane in the bottom of the egg.

Very gently put a pin hole in each end of the egg. The pointy side is to be down. Blow from the other end all the egg out. Do this all gently...you will probably break the first few so make plenty just in case!

Use a pin to poke holes in the top and bottom of the egg. Make sure they are decent sized. It helps if you stick something skinny in one of the holes and swirl it around to break up the yoke. Then just blow really hard into one of the holes, but do it over a bowl or the sink or something. It takes patience, but it's really rewarding! Good luck!

Shake the eggs up first, real good, so that the yoke breaks...carefully use a pin or a sharp knife to put holes in the top and bottom, and carefully blow into one.

using the tip of a paring knife tap a hole in both ends, then put your mouth to one end and blow the egg into a bowl, you are left with the shell. if its hard, use a needle or skewer to stick into the hole and scramble the egg, the tension of the whole yolk makes it hard to blow out sometimes.

The best/quickest way I found is described on this "eggs" page of my website... it also lists various ways:

(top of the page)

(we do all kinds of things with eggs in the polymer clay community)

Have fun!
