okay.
so my straightner left two burn marks on my marble countertop in my bathroom...
two orange tHICK lines.....
is there any possible way for me to get rid of them?
someone PLEASE HELP!

Use 1200 grit sandpaper. You can get it at any hardware store. Wet the sandpaper & the surface. Gently sand the affected area keeping it wet at all times.
That should do it.

Try lightly "sanding" with fine steel wool (not the soap pad type). You can get this at hardware stores or Home Centers. You may need to polish the surface after removing the marks.

In UK go to Halfords or similar and buy finest wet & dry paper it costs pence. Dip in water and rub gently with circular motion to remove marks, Buff the area afterwards to put the shine back.

If you sand it follow it with a Thin coat of clear fingernail polish.

try acetone ( fingernail polish remover ) with a q-tip to see if it eats it off too badly, and/or polishing coumpound & a buffing wheel...thasts what the manfactures use to do these type of repairs - fake marble is like gel-coat-boat finish
