Although, you have to think like a con for a moment to understand the rationale... when you hate peace and prosperity, like the cons do, what Pelosi is doing really is worse than what Tom Delay did.

What Tom Delay did was bad for America... and that's good for the cons.

The purpose of the courts and congress is expressly to challenge executive branch power. They are not there to enable the Presidency.

No money laundering was found. The Democrats used and use the same campaign fiance reform loop holes all the time.

Middle East diplomacy is not her job. Taking a chemistry class in college does not qualify her to handle Nuclear material and being elected as a Senator from California does not qualify her to involve her herself in the affairs of the Syrian government and Israel.

It was worse than money laundering. Tom DeLay pretty much wanted to turn the United States into the Soviet Union. His stated goal was to destroy the Democratic party and turn the US government into a one-party system.

If Ronnie Earle had not taken him down, there could have been a revolution like we haven't seen since the War of Secession.

There is a whole gang of baddies among the neocons from whom they want to divert attention by attacking Representative Pelosi...and this morning's questions are definitely running against her efforts at peacemaking. I put on my asbestos underwear today, so flame away!

Dick, Rummy, Tom, Duke, Scooter, Newt and their ilk are all indictable and the RepubliCONs are desperate for us not to notice the nasty little men behind the curtain. The really unfortunate thing about this whole tawdry mess is that our justice system moves so slowly that all of them will be pardoned by the President before he leaves office in '09.

Kind of a weird question - like asking if a ham sandwich is better than a Thursday. Hard to compare.

But, since you ask... Pelosi has no significant foreign policy experience, has no statutory or Constitutional authority to conduct foreign policy, and is making kissy-face with a terrorist supporting, anti-American regime. In the process of doing so, she may be undermining her own country. And her motive is not "to bring peace" but "to advance herself politically". Some would even say "to advance her own America-hating agenda".

So, is it worse to be a crook, or a traitor? They're both bad, but in different ways.
